Well done to all and many thanks for supplying such interesting ideas and proposals: we couldn’t have done it without you!
More in due course.

The final version of the main proposal has been sent to Caroline Palmer today. Many thanks to all contributors who were asked to rejig their proposals and who did so promptly.
A couple of changes to the final slate of contributors, due to either personal commitments, advice from B&B’s reader or, in one case, disappearance… Alex Davis, Michael Cichon, Roger Dalrymple, Anthony Bale, Jane Bliss, Thomas Crofts, Robert Rouse, Simon Meecham-Jones, Corinne Saunders, Margaret Robson, Kristina Hildebrand, Amanda Hopkins, plus introduction by Cory Rushton (with AH).
Please start writing! Articles (preferably in WordPerfect or Rich Text format, though Word acceptable if no alternative) should be sent by e-mail to arrive by DECEMBER 31st 2004.
Friday 18th June 2004 (where is the year going?)
Caroline Palmer and Boydell & Brewer's reader are enthusiastic, although they have returned a few quibbles about both the main and some of the contributors' proposals. Individual emails have been send to the contributors accordingly.
If you've been asked to review your proposal, please send it back by the end of June so we can submit the final version of the proposal for consideration by the board as soon as possible. Many thanks.

Boydell & Brewer have acknowledged the proposal and are seeking an assessor for the volume. More when we know more…
Thursday 12th February 2004
The proposal was posted today! We are trying Boydell & Brewer first, as most (if not all) of the contributors are already known to them.
We failed to track down a source for the quotation ‘takyng hir blysse’, so the title offered is ‘parfit blisse of love’: A Search for the Erotic in Medieval Britain.
The final slate of contributors for the proposal runs: Alex Davis, Kevin Whetter, Michael Cichon, Roger Dalrymple, Anthony Bale, Jane Bliss, Thomas Crofts, Robert Rouse, Simon Meecham-Jones, Keely Fisher, Corinne Saunders, Margaret Robson, Kristina Hildebrand, Cory Rushton, Amanda Hopkins.
Many thanks to all of you for your patience. We hope to have news (preferably good!) soon. Watch this space…
Contact details: e-mail links for Amanda Hopkins and Cory Rushton.
